At Sacred Heart, prayer and worship is central to the life of the school. We come together regularly for collective worship as a whole school and in classes. As well as formal liturgies, we make time for age appropriate spiritual formation and reflection.
Prayer life is central to our structure of the day. We have prayers which punctuate the day. we also have a daily worship time whereby we have a variety of prayers through music, scripture, silent meditation and our prayer journals.
The themes for collective worship follow the liturgical year and focus on our school’s core values. We respond to events in our school community or in the wider world.
We have Mass together in school or in Church to mark key points in the school year and the Church’s year. We regularly invite parents, carers and parishioners to join us in worship.
