Please find below our application form to apply for a place in our school Nursery.
Sacred Heart Nursery admits children on or after their 3rd birthday. Admission is given on an age criteria but whenever possible, Baptised Catholic children will always be given first priority for admittance, however non-Catholic children, or children of parents who wish their child to gain from our Nursery ethos, are welcome and admitted in the same order as our School Admission Policy.
Please note: admission to Nursery does not automatically guarantee admission into School.
We have an excellent EYFS team, who liaise closely with you to give children the best possible preparation for entering primary school.

Once we receive your completed forms, we will contact you to discuss your child’s start date. We offer an enhanced transition to ensure your child(ren) settles in the best possible way. All children start their nursery journey with 1 week of hour-long sessions, followed by a gradual increase over the first couple of weeks, progressing to staying for the duration of the day. Please speak to a staff member for further details.
Our Nursery pricing is in line with the Local Authority funding pricing and is reviewed following each Local Authority funding review. Our pricing for academic year 2025 – 2026 has been set at:
- £17.52 per 1/2 day
- £35.04 per full day
- £2.45 optional meal charge
We are able to accept a wealth of childcare support packages such as:
- 15 Hours Universal Free Childcare
- 30 Hours Childcare
- Tax Free Childcare
- Universal Credit
- MOD Wraparound Childcare (WAC) Scheme (available for our wrap around care service provision)
